Senior Data Center Construction Manager

Oracle is seeking a Senior Data Center Construction Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure delivery in Bismarck, Burleigh County. This full-time position directs construction of mission-critical data center facilities designed to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's next-generation cloud and AI computing capacity.

Position Summary

As Senior Data Center Construction Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a major data center construction initiative representing approximately 1 gigawatt of computing capacity. You'll work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's Data Center Infrastructure Construction team to ensure projects meet the highest standards for quality, safety, schedule adherence, and regulatory compliance. This role demands strategic leadership of complex, multi-phase construction efforts that directly enable Oracle's cloud and AI infrastructure expansion.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of data center construction project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet quality and timeline objectives
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align construction activities with infrastructure specifications and industry best practices
• Oversee on-site construction progress, conducting regular inspections and quality assurance reviews to maintain project standards
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget tracking across all project phases
• Ensure full compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements throughout the construction lifecycle
• Lead and mentor construction teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve construction challenges, managing change orders and scope adjustments as needed

What You Bring

• Extensive construction management experience, with substantial background in data center or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, mechanical systems, power distribution, cooling systems, and network infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction projects, budgets, and schedules at scale
• Proven experience leading and developing construction teams across multiple trades and disciplines
• Thorough understanding of construction codes, safety regulations, and permitting requirements
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM preferred
