Core Duties

• Research and develop foundation models for robot learning that enable autonomous systems to generalize across diverse tasks and environments.

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize sensor systems, actuators, and low-level control strategies that translate AI decisions into physical motion.
• Conduct experiments and testing to validate robotic systems in real-world deployment scenarios.
• Publish research findings and contribute to the broader AI and robotics research community.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in robot foundation models, robot learning, or similar areas of AI applied to robotics.
• Strong background in multimodal machine learning and tactile sensing or haptic feedback systems.
• Solid understanding of full-stack robotics systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Experience implementing and evaluating computer vision or sensor fusion approaches in robotic applications.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and the ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams.
• PhD or equivalent research experience in computer science, robotics, machine learning, or a closely related field.
