Project Manager – Data Analytics Lead (Remote)

GovCIO is hiring a Project Manager - Data Analytics Lead for a fully remote position, based in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. You'll lead data analytics and program management efforts for the Department of Veterans Affairs Military to Civilian Readiness Transition Assistance Program.

About This Position

This full-time remote position requires U.S. Suitability/Public Trust clearance eligibility. You'll combine analytical leadership with project management to shape the data strategy and outcomes of a major federal transition initiative. Your work bridges government priorities and operational delivery, turning program data into actionable intelligence that directly impacts veteran services and informs federal policy decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Direct collection, validation, and quality assurance of program data across multiple systems and partner organizations
• Design and maintain analytical dashboards, reports, and visualizations tracking program performance and veteran outcomes
• Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities within transition assistance operations
• Author performance reports and data-driven briefings for federal stakeholders and leadership
• Partner with government and contractor teams to define analytics requirements and project scope
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations across a distributed project environment

Qualifications

• Proven background in project management, data analytics, or business analysis
• Hands-on experience with analytics platforms, databases, and data visualization tools
• Ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives for executive and technical audiences
• Experience in federal contracting, government programs, or working with federal agencies is a plus
• Eligibility to obtain or maintain U.S. Suitability/Public Trust clearance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments
