Multi-Fuel Technician

Suburban Propane is hiring a Multi-Fuel Technician in Plattsburgh, Clinton County, to join our service team. As a full-time technician, you'll install and maintain propane and fuel systems, deliver exceptional customer service, and support the region's trusted energy provider.

The Opportunity

Your Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service propane and multi-fuel systems for homes and businesses throughout Clinton County
• Perform safety checks, pressure tests, and leak detection to ensure systems meet all compliance standards
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs quickly and correctly
• Respond to routine and emergency service calls with professionalism and urgency
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
• Advise customers on system operation, maintenance schedules, and safety best practices

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations in the Plattsburgh area
• Experience with propane systems, HVAC, plumbing, or fuel-related technical work
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
• Willingness to earn relevant certifications and stay current with safety regulations
• Strong communication skills and genuine customer service focus
• Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teammates
