Director, Human Resources Business Partner (Hybrid)

RTX Corporation is seeking a Director of Human Resources Business Partner to lead strategic HR initiatives at our Farmington, Connecticut location. This full-time position is based on-site and plays a critical role in aligning our people strategy with business objectives.

About the Role

As Director, Human Resources Business Partner, you'll serve as a strategic HR leader supporting our Farmington operations. You'll own the end-to-end HR business partnership function, working closely with department leaders to shape talent strategies, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performing culture.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business unit leaders to translate organizational strategy into talent and HR initiatives
• Lead employee relations, performance management, and organizational development activities
• Design and execute workforce planning and succession management programs
• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company objectives and legal requirements
• Coach and mentor HR staff; build and manage HR teams supporting your business units
• Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies tailored to business needs
• Champion employee engagement and culture initiatives across your supported areas
• Oversee compliance with employment law, regulations, and company policies

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in an HR business partner or senior HR leadership role
• Proven track record of partnering with business leaders to solve organizational challenges
• Strong knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
• Experience building and leading high-performing HR teams
• Strategic mindset with ability to balance immediate employee relations with long-term workforce planning
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant HR certification (SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or equivalent) a plus
• U.S. citizenship is required, as access to program information requires U.S. citizen status
