The Opportunity

The Health & Safety Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive safety initiatives across our Madison operations. Core Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs that exceed regulatory standards and best practices
• Conduct workplace hazard assessments, risk analyses, and audits to identify and eliminate potential dangers
• Lead training programs for employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and hazard awareness
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents; document findings and implement corrective actions
• Manage safety metrics, reporting, and documentation to support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Collaborate with department heads and facility management to integrate safety into daily operations
• Stay current on occupational health and safety regulations and industry standards affecting our business

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in health and safety program management or similar role
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable workplace safety standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence organizational culture
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with safety management systems and incident tracking software
