The Opportunity

What You'll Do
- Prosecute misdemeanor and traffic cases in municipal court on behalf of Salt Lake City Corporation

- Prepare and file court documents, motions, and legal memoranda
- Interview witnesses, victims, and law enforcement to develop case theory

- Collaborate with law enforcement and municipal departments on case-related issues
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Current admission to practice law in the State of Utah or eligibility for admission within 60 days
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze legal documents and evidence systematically
- Commitment to ethical prosecution and public service
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively within a legal team
- Preferred: experience in prosecution, criminal defense, or municipal law
