As a Border Patrol Agent at entry level, you will perform frontline operations to secure the nation's borders and ports of entry. Responsibilities

• Conduct patrol operations along designated border sectors to detect and apprehend individuals attempting unauthorized entry
• Perform vehicle, cargo, and equipment inspections at checkpoints to identify contraband and security threats
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation of enforcement activities, investigations, and incident responses
• Respond to emergency situations and provide tactical support during complex enforcement operations
• Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners on coordinated border security efforts
• Monitor and manage traffic flow at ports of entry and control designated border crossing areas

Skills & Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a Top Secret security clearance and thorough background investigation
• Excellent physical fitness and capability to work in demanding outdoor and field conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with diverse populations
• Sound judgment and composure to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
• Valid passport or willingness to obtain one
