Donor Center Phlebotomist

American Red Cross is actively recruiting for a full-time Donor Center Phlebotomist position at our Saint Cloud, Stearns County location. Make an immediate impact collecting lifesaving blood donations—paid training is provided, and no prior medical experience is required.

Role Overview

As a Donor Center Phlebotomist at American Red Cross, you'll perform venipuncture and facilitate blood collection in our Saint Cloud donor center. Your technical skills, commitment to donor safety, and compassion will directly support patients in critical need across Minnesota and beyond. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood donations from qualified donors
• Conduct pre-donation health screening and eligibility interviews
• Assess donor reactions and provide appropriate support throughout the donation process
• Accurately label, process, and document all blood collection samples
• Maintain a sanitary and organized donor center environment
• Communicate clearly with donors about procedures, requirements, and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification (training provided for qualified candidates)
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication abilities
• Detail-oriented approach to sample handling and record-keeping
