Assistant Property Manager – Folsom Gardens

Role Overview

As an Assistant Property Manager at Folsom Gardens, you'll work alongside the Property Manager to handle day-to-day operations and foster an inclusive, welcoming environment. This position is instrumental in delivering quality resident services, maintaining property standards, and furthering Mercy Housing's commitment to housing, hope, and opportunity within the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Support leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and finalizing lease agreements
• Oversee rent collection, account management, and financial documentation
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and respond promptly to resident requests
• Perform regular property inspections and document conditions and issues
• Build community by organizing events, activities, and fostering positive resident relationships
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and property management standards
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Property Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred)
• Background in customer service, administration, property management, or similar roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with standard office software and capacity to learn property management systems
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in a values-driven environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Dedication to fair housing practices and community inclusion
