About This Position

Mercy Housing is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Senior Property Manager to oversee operations and lead the on-site team at Cranes Landing, a groundbreaking affordable housing community developed in partnership with Native American Housing Circle and Denver Indian Health & Family Services. This full-time role combines hands-on property management with strategic leadership, requiring a professional who understands both the operational demands of residential communities and the unique needs of the populations we serve. You'll work at the intersection of housing excellence and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop property staff, fostering a collaborative, resident-centered culture
• Manage lease administration, resident relations, and community engagement initiatives
• Oversee maintenance operations, vendor management, and capital improvements
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations, HUD requirements, and local housing codes
• Develop and manage operating budgets and financial reporting
• Coordinate with partner organizations to align services and support resident wellbeing
• Maintain occupancy and address resident concerns with professionalism and compassion

What You Bring

• 5+ years of property management experience, ideally in affordable or mission-driven housing
• Proven leadership and staff supervision experience
• Strong knowledge of residential property operations, maintenance, and leasing
• Familiarity with affordable housing regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to serving diverse communities and advancing housing equity
