The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Technician at Sundance Property Management, you'll be the skilled professional our properties depend on. You'll tackle the full spectrum of building maintenance—from urgent repairs to routine upkeep—ensuring that tenant spaces remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This full-time role offers variety, independence, and the satisfaction of seeing problems through to lasting solutions across our Oakwood, Montgomery County portfolio.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform pipe fitting and plumbing work on residential and commercial properties
- Execute carpentry repairs and installations on building structures, flooring, and stairs
- Conduct welding work as needed for structural or equipment repairs
- Service, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
- Install, align, and balance new equipment to specification
- Respond to maintenance requests and conduct property inspections
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement efficient solutions
- Maintain accurate records and communicate status to the Property Manager
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or multi-trade maintenance professional
- Proficiency in at least two major areas: plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, welding, or HVAC
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a variety of maintenance tasks
- Professional communication skills and ability to work respectfully with tenants
