What This Role Involves

As a Principal Director, you will drive transformational change across supply chain and manufacturing operations for leading life sciences companies. You'll partner with executive leadership and boards to redesign end-to-end supply chain ecosystems, optimize manufacturing capabilities, and implement technologies that accelerate growth and market competitiveness. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll translate strategic vision into measurable operational results—reducing complexity, driving efficiency, and positioning clients to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale supply chain transformation programs, from strategy and roadmap development through implementation and value realization
• Design and execute manufacturing modernization initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and advanced manufacturing technology integration
• Advise C-suite executives and boards on supply chain risk mitigation, resilience, and competitive positioning
• Identify and quantify operational improvement opportunities across procurement, production, logistics, and distribution
• Build and mentor high-performing consulting teams, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction
• Develop business cases and govern transformation initiatives to ensure sustainable cost reduction and enhanced stakeholder value
• Stay current with life sciences industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies that impact supply chain and manufacturing

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations consulting, with demonstrated success leading transformational programs
• Deep expertise in life sciences supply chain and/or manufacturing operations
• Proven track record managing enterprise-scale programs with P&L responsibility and measurable business impact
• Strong executive presence and experience advising C-suite and board-level clients
• Expertise in supply chain technologies, manufacturing systems, or operational analytics
• Advanced degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business administration, or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
