Music Teacher needed in Hangzhou => Relocate to China

Zhejiang Haicheng Education Technology Co., Ltd is seeking an experienced Music Teacher for a full-time position based in Hangzhou, China. Starting September 2026, you'll teach music to a diverse group of elementary students while contributing to an educational community dedicated to fostering cultural literacy and artistic growth.

Role Overview

As a Music Teacher, you will deliver engaging instruction to approximately 30 students per class in the 6–12 age range. This full-time role centers on building musical literacy, confidence, and creative expression through age-appropriate pedagogy and interactive teaching methods. You'll teach up to 15 hours per week in 40-minute sessions within standard office hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.), with weekends off to prepare lessons and recharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum-aligned music lessons for elementary-aged learners across multiple grade levels
• Manage classroom dynamics and engage approximately 30 students per session in productive musical learning
• Create lesson materials, assessments, and performance opportunities that build student skills and confidence
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and participation
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school concerts, events, and educational initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Fluent, idiomatic English proficiency in speaking and writing
• Clear background check with no criminal record
• Proven experience teaching music to elementary-age students
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal abilities
