About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Ice Hockey Coach to lead youth hockey instruction programs in our Bellevue location. You'll teach students ages 3 through 15 in a full-time capacity, delivering up to 25 hours per week of professional coaching across 30-minute classes designed for small groups. Your schedule includes weekday afternoons and evenings and weekend hours, with two scheduled days off during the Monday-to-Friday week.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and deliver age-appropriate ice hockey instruction as a core curriculum component
- Create customized teaching plans that reflect each student's current skill level and learning pace
- Coach small groups of 2 to 6 students per session, providing individualized attention and feedback
- Establish a safe, encouraging, and progressive learning environment for young hockey players
- Monitor student development and adjust your coaching methods to support skill advancement
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as sports science, physical education, kinesiology, or athletic coaching
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Prior experience coaching or teaching youth ice hockey programs
- Ability to work the evening and weekend schedule outlined above
- Genuine enthusiasm for developing young athletic talent and fostering confidence in your students
