Join Transervice Logistics, LLC as a Diesel Mechanic and Technician in Salinas, Monterey County. We're seeking full-time professionals to deliver expert maintenance and repair services on commercial diesel engines and refrigerated transportation systems.
About the Role
This is a full-time position based in Salinas, working Monday through Friday on day shift with weekends off. You'll earn $35–$38 per hour based on your experience and technical skills. What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and power units
- Service refrigerated transport systems, with particular expertise in Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections to detect mechanical defects and safety hazards
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using specialized diagnostic tools
- Replace worn components, fluids, filters, and parts to manufacturer specifications
- Document all service work and maintain detailed maintenance records
- Communicate with drivers and dispatchers to coordinate efficient turnaround times
What We're Looking For
- Established experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy-duty technician
- Prior experience working on Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units (strongly preferred)
- Solid technical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components
- Proficiency using diagnostic equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, safety-conscious professional with valid driver's license
