Zhejiang Haicheng Education Technology Co., Ltd is seeking a full-time IELTS teacher to join its education team in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. This is a direct relocation opportunity for qualified English language educators passionate about teaching high school students and building their international English proficiency.

Position Summary

This full-time role focuses on delivering specialized IELTS instruction to motivated secondary students. You'll guide learners through comprehensive exam preparation, developing their listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills across authentic test scenarios. The position offers a structured work environment in Hangzhou, China's vibrant educational and technology center, with a thoughtfully balanced teaching schedule that allows time for lesson planning and continuous improvement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Teach IELTS to small classes ranging from 10 to 30 students, primarily ages 16–18
• Conduct 40-minute lessons, with a typical load of up to 15 hours per week
• Create or adapt engaging lesson materials targeting IELTS proficiency standards
• Administer and mark practice tests, quizzes, and comprehensive assessments
• Provide individualized feedback to support each student's progress toward their target band score
• Collaborate with colleagues to align instruction with school goals and student outcomes
• Maintain organized records and participate in routine staff meetings

What You Bring

• Valid teaching visa and work authorization for China
• Specialized training or certification in IELTS instruction
• Bachelor's degree in English, Language Education, Linguistics, or related discipline
• Native or near-native fluency in English with excellent pedagogical communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to teach secondary learners and adapt lessons for mixed proficiency levels
• Strong organizational skills, cultural awareness, and professional reliability
