Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction aligned with classroom curricula for Pre-K through 4th Grade
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth
• Follow lesson plans and classroom management procedures provided by permanent teachers
• Communicate with staff about classroom activities and student progress
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of elementary learners

Skills & Qualifications

• Compassionate and dedicated approach to working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs
• Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude in educational settings
• Knowledge of elementary education standards and best practices
• Valid teaching certification or equivalent qualification as required by New York State
