Corporate Counsel, Commercial Contracts

Monolithic Power Systems is hiring a Corporate Counsel, Commercial Contracts to strengthen our legal team in Kirkland, King County. This full-time position brings together strategic legal expertise and commercial acumen to guide high-value agreements across a rapidly expanding semiconductor organization.

About the Role

As Corporate Counsel specializing in Commercial Contracts, you'll drive contract strategy and execution for Monolithic Power Systems. Working closely with business leaders, you'll shape agreements that reflect both legal rigor and commercial reality. Your counsel will span the complete contract lifecycle—from initial structuring and negotiation through ongoing compliance and dispute resolution. You'll become the trusted legal advisor that helps teams close deals confidently while protecting company interests.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and analyze commercial contracts including supplier, customer, distribution, and service agreements
• Negotiate contract terms with vendors, customers, and partners, balancing legal protection against business requirements
• Identify legal and commercial risks within proposed agreements and recommend practical mitigation strategies
• Provide clear legal guidance to business units on performance obligations, compliance expectations, and dispute management
• Develop and maintain contract documentation systems and policies
• Support corporate initiatives requiring contract review and legal counsel across departments

What We're Looking For

• Licensed attorney with proven experience in commercial contract law or corporate counsel roles
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities with the judgment to find workable solutions under time pressure
• Track record managing complex multi-party contracts and stakeholder interests
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication—able to translate legal concepts for non-lawyer business partners
• Experience in technology or manufacturing sectors is preferred
