About the Role

As an Electric Transmission/Renewable Energy Project Manager based in Chicago, you will guide complex power and renewable energy projects from concept through completion. Working alongside specialists drawn from Stantec's broad network of technical disciplines, you will keep safety, quality, and ethical practice at the center of every decision while driving projects toward successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of electric transmission and renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring work aligns with technical standards and client expectations.
• Uphold rigorous safety, quality, and ethical standards throughout each project phase.
• Manage scope, budget, and timelines while proactively identifying and resolving risks.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with environmental and engineering experts to deliver creative, growth-minded solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing electric transmission and/or renewable energy projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse technical teams.
• Solid command of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, and budget control.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professional integrity.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Illinois Medical District, Chicago (this is not a remote position).
