Senior Principal – Management and Funding Consulting

Stantec is hiring a full-time Senior Principal – Management and Funding Consulting in Pico Heights, Los Angeles County, to help shape the strategy and financing behind infrastructure that strengthens communities.

About the Role

As a Senior Principal within Stantec's Management and Technology Consulting (MTC) practice, you will guide clients through the funding, planning, and delivery decisions that turn complex infrastructure into lasting public value. This is a senior, client-facing leadership position based on-site in Pico Heights, Los Angeles County, where strategy, policy, and technology intersect across major capital programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise public and private clients on management, funding, and financing approaches for large infrastructure initiatives.
• Lead consulting engagements that connect policy, capital planning, technology, and stakeholder priorities into actionable strategies.
• Develop and present recommendations that strengthen the long-term performance and sustainability of infrastructure systems.
• Mentor consulting staff and contribute to the growth of the MTC practice.
• Build trusted client relationships and support business development across the region.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level experience in management consulting, infrastructure funding, or capital program advisory work.
• Strong command of funding mechanisms, financing strategies, and the policy environment shaping public infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead engagements, advise executive stakeholders, and deliver clear, defensible recommendations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills suited to a principal-level role.
