Toolroom Area Leader- Monte 2nd Shift

About the Role

In this Toolroom Area Leader role, you'll oversee all aspects of toolroom operations that directly support production performance. You'll manage tool inventory, maintenance protocols, and team coordination while upholding quality standards and workplace safety. Working the 2nd Shift, you'll ensure toolroom readiness and rapid response to production demands.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate daily toolroom activities and team responsibilities
• Manage tool inventory systems, organization, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Supervise tool calibration, quality inspection, and compliance verification
• Direct toolroom staff and foster accountability and operational excellence
• Troubleshoot tool-related production issues and implement rapid solutions
• Monitor tool conditions and authorize repairs, maintenance, or replacements
• Develop process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Maintain detailed tool control records and performance documentation

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing toolroom operations or tool control functions
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of tools, equipment maintenance, and calibration standards
• Proficiency with inventory management and tool tracking systems
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to time-sensitive production needs
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable availability for 2nd shift work in Montezuma, Poweshiek County
