REGISTERED NURSE-Cath/EP Lab RN

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Cath/EP Lab, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'll work as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and nursing colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality patient experiences from admission through recovery.

What You'll Do

• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care, including patient assessment, education, and discharge planning
• Monitor and maintain patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with catheterization, ablation, and other cardiac interventional procedures
• Operate and maintain specialized cardiac monitoring and life support equipment
• Document patient care activities, procedures, and outcomes in electronic medical records
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols
• Respond to patient needs and concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal clinical and patient satisfaction outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current Connecticut RN license in good standing
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Acute care or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, procedure-focused environment
• Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and compassionate care
• ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
