About the Role
We're building our tax leadership team and seeking an experienced professional to guide our trust and estate tax services. As Tax Director, you'll oversee complex client matters, lead our tax professionals, manage client relationships, and help drive the firm's continued growth during this period of expansion.
What You'll Do
- Direct trust and estate tax planning, preparation, and compliance services for high-net-worth clients
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals within our firm
- Manage significant client relationships and ensure quality service delivery standards
- Contribute to business development and client acquisition efforts
- Establish departmental procedures and best practices
- Stay current with tax law changes and industry developments
What We're Looking For
- Active CPA license with substantial experience in tax planning and preparation, particularly in trust and estate taxation
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing tax teams and professionals
- Deep expertise in high-net-worth tax strategies and estate planning matters
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Commitment to professional growth and continuing education
- Strategic vision for growing and scaling a tax practice
