Bilingual DIR Floortime Player (Spanish) – Bordentown

Join Kinder Growth Therapy as a full-time Bilingual DIR Floortime Player (Spanish) in Fieldsboro, Burlington County, serving children on the autism spectrum. This is an in-person role dedicated to building joyful, meaningful relationships with children using the developmental, individual-difference, relationship-based (DIR) Floortime approach.

About the Role

As a Bilingual DIR Floortime Player, you'll provide therapeutic support grounded in the DIR Floortime model, creating dynamic, play-based interactions that help children develop foundational social, emotional, and communication skills. Your bilingual fluency in Spanish and English enables you to connect authentically with both English and Spanish-speaking families, ensuring cultural responsiveness and inclusive care. You'll work directly with children in our center-based clinic in Fieldsboro, engaging them in floor-time sessions that meet them where they are developmentally and help unlock their unique potential.

What You'll Do

• Conduct DIR Floortime sessions tailored to each child's developmental level, learning style, and interests
• Follow the child's lead in floor-based, play-centered interactions while gently expanding their capacities for engagement, intentionality, and symbolic thinking
• Communicate with Spanish-speaking families in their primary language to build trust and share progress observations
• Collaborate with clinical teams to align therapeutic goals and share developmental insights
• Document session progress and track developmental milestones accurately and consistently
• Support a culture of joy, safety, and belonging for children and families

What We're Looking For

• Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of or training in the DIR Floortime model; related certifications or coursework strongly preferred
• Experience working with autistic or neurodivergent children in a therapeutic or educational setting
• Genuine warmth, patience, and capacity to engage playfully with young children
• Strong observational and communication skills; ability to reflect and adapt in real time
• Commitment to family-centered, culturally responsive care
• Full-time availability and reliable transportation to our Fieldsboro location
