About the Role

Join our sports team as a part-time Soccer Official for youth leagues based in Johnstown. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a direct impact on young athletes' development and enjoyment of the game. As a Soccer Official, you'll work alongside another official to manage the flow and integrity of youth soccer matches.

What You'll Do

  • Officiate youth soccer matches for our recreational programs
  • Share game management and scorekeeping responsibilities with a partner official
  • Enforce rules and regulations to create a fair, safe playing environment
  • Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators
  • Maintain game records and official documentation as required

What We're Looking For

  • Current knowledge of official soccer rules and gameplay

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • State soccer officiating certification (a plus, with higher compensation)
  • Fluency in Spanish (10% pay premium available)

Compensation

This part-time position offers competitive hourly pay. The rate ranges from $15.16 to $18.00 per hour depending on your experience and certifications. If you hold state soccer officiating certification, you'll earn $25.00 per hour. Staff who are fluent in Spanish and pass our fluency assessment receive an additional 10% pay differential.
