Quality Control Technician – Ready Mix Concrete

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be verifying that all concrete materials conform to project specifications before delivery. You'll conduct testing, analyze results, and maintain comprehensive records that demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is essential to maintaining NESL's reputation for quality and reliability in Lancaster County's construction supply industry.

What You'll Do

• Measure, sample, and test concrete batches to verify they meet established project specifications and regulatory standards
• Maintain detailed quality control records and documentation required by PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and NESL protocols
• Verify raw materials and components meet specifications before they're incorporated into finished concrete products
• Record all test data accurately, organize documentation, and ensure all records are complete and accessible
• Identify and report quality issues to production and management teams for corrective action
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment
