As a Machine Associate Operator at BSN Sports, you'll work in our distribution and processing facility, operating key equipment that handles sporting goods and apparel. This is hands-on work that directly supports our mission to serve coaches, athletic programs, and teams across the nation. You'll be part of a team environment where safety, quality, and efficiency matter every single day.
What You'll Do
- Operate machinery according to work instructions and production schedules
- Monitor equipment performance and alert supervisors to any malfunctions or operational issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and keep machines clean and organized
- Inspect products and materials to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area
- Assist with material handling, loading, and positioning as needed
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about production status and concerns
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and accurately
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to follow procedures and work as part of a team
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience is a plus
