Meals on Wheels Site Manager

Old Colony Elder Services is hiring a Meals on Wheels Site Manager in Braintree, Norfolk County, to lead meal delivery operations that serve seniors and adults with disabilities across the expanding south shore region.

About the Role

As Site Manager for our Meals on Wheels program, you'll oversee daily meal preparation, quality assurance, and distribution operations at our Braintree location. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring that older adults and individuals with disabilities in our community receive reliable nutrition and support services they depend on.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day meal delivery operations, including food preparation, portioning, and safe distribution
• Supervise and coordinate volunteers who deliver meals to clients throughout the service area
• Maintain food safety and health standards in compliance with all applicable regulations
• Track and manage inventory, budgets, and operational resources efficiently
• Build relationships with seniors and individuals with disabilities in the community, understanding their nutritional needs and wellness concerns
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer teams to maintain service consistency
• Work with OCES' care coordination team to address clients' broader service needs
• Report on program metrics and contribute to the organization's mission expansion across new south shore communities

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing operations in food service, elder care, nonprofit services, or community health programs
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate volunteers
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to serving seniors and vulnerable populations with dignity and respect
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a mission-driven organization
• Familiarity with food safety practices and health regulations is a plus

We provide vital information, service coordination, and programs—including Meals on Wheels—that help our clients live independently, safely, and with dignity. We're currently expanding our reach to 11 additional towns, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, and beyond, creating new opportunities to serve our community.
