About the Role
In this full-time position working 40 hours per week with varying shifts, you'll perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations and echocardiograms for patients at our Heart Hospital facility. Your expertise in cardiac sonography will directly support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning for patients with diverse cardiac conditions.
What You'll Do
- Conduct detailed transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiographic examinations with clinical precision
- Operate advanced cardiac ultrasound imaging equipment and acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Document sonographic findings clearly and prepare comprehensive reports for physician interpretation
- Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain rigorous adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process
What We're Looking For
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification or equivalent cardiac ultrasound credentials
- Demonstrated experience in cardiac sonography and echocardiography
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling in a dynamic hospital environment
