Barr-Nunn Transportation is seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver - Transition Bonus to join its regional team in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County.

About the Role

This is a dedicated regional driving position that offers predictable home time, allowing drivers to be off the road each weekend. Successful candidates will operate modern equipment on set regional lanes and receive a transition bonus on their first paycheck.

What You'll Do

• Operate a tractor‑trailer safely and efficiently on assigned regional routes
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logs, mileage reports, and delivery documentation
• Communicate regularly with dispatch to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Adhere to company safety policies and promptly report any mechanical issues
• Assist with loading and unloading when required, following proper procedures

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• At least eight months of verifiable over‑the‑road experience within the last two years
• No employment terminations during the past twelve months
• Ability to meet regional scheduling expectations and be home each weekend
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct
• Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices and routine vehicle maintenance
