About this role & career path
Litigation paralegal work in labor & employment builds toward senior paralegal, legal operations, or specialist compliance roles. In a corporate real-estate environment, exposure often spans multi-state matters, vendor counsel, and internal policy execution rather than pure law-firm billable dockets.
Build the skills for this role
Prioritize civil litigation procedure, employment-law terminology, discovery/e-discovery hygiene, privilege awareness, and strong document control. No certification resources were supplied in CERTS for this family; focus on verifiable case-management and legal-research tools used by your target team rather than paid credential guesses.
Be ready to walk through a labor/employment matter you supported end-to-end: deadline control, discovery production, and how you protected confidential employee data. Ask how Cushman & Wakefield’s in-house or coordinated counsel model handles multi-jurisdiction workforce issues for a global CRE platform.
Strong fit if you want corporate litigation support inside commercial real estate rather than a pure firm practice—organized, deadline-driven paralegals comfortable with employment matters and stakeholder coordination in Providence-area, on-site work.
