Cushman & Wakefield seeks a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal, Labor & Employment to join its in-house Legal Department in Washington, D.C. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support complex employment-related litigation and dispute resolution on behalf of one of the world's leading real estate services firms.

About the Role

As a Litigation Paralegal specializing in Labor & Employment matters, you will serve as a vital member of the Legal Department's litigation team. You will work directly with in-house counsel and senior paralegals to manage and support a substantial caseload of employment disputes, investigations, and litigation proceedings. This role requires the ability to juggle multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to legal documentation, deadlines, and case strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in-house counsel with case preparation, discovery management, and litigation strategy across employment-related disputes
  • Coordinate with external counsel, HR leaders, risk management, and business stakeholders on active matters
  • Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence related to labor and employment litigation
  • Organize, review, and index discovery materials and evidence for litigation proceedings
  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with filing deadlines and court requirements
  • Support depositions, hearings, and trial preparation activities
  • Communicate with clients and external parties regarding case status and administrative matters

What We're Looking For

  • Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education and hands-on litigation experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in labor and employment law matters, preferably within a corporate legal department or law firm
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with litigation support software, legal databases, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external counsel
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law principles and litigation procedures
