What You'll Do
- Create differentiated, standards-aligned lesson plans and instructional materials
- Deliver direct instruction in core academic areas and skill-building
- Collaborate with general education teachers on inclusive co-teaching and mainstreaming strategies
- Assess student performance regularly and adjust teaching strategies based on progress data
- Maintain detailed records and communicate frequently with families about student growth
- Participate in IEP development meetings and contribute to individualized education planning
- Create an affirming, structured classroom where all students feel supported and engaged

- Valid state certification or licensure in high school special education
