About the Role

You'll manage the independent business side of owner operator trucking—vehicle maintenance, route planning, regulatory compliance—while the company provides steady, vetted loads and logistics coordination. What You'll Do
- Operate your CDL-A-certified dry van truck on regional routes
- Transport full truckload and partial shipments according to delivery schedules and safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements
- Maintain detailed logbooks in compliance with DOT Hours of Service regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for load assignments and route logistics
- Ensure cargo security and adherence to weight and hazmat compliance guidelines
- Deliver professional customer service through reliable, on-time freight delivery
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2+ years of commercial trucking experience as an owner operator or company driver
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and Hours of Service compliance
- Well-maintained dry van truck (or ability to purchase or lease)
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills in time-sensitive situations
- Professional commitment to on-time, damage-free deliveries
