About the Role
This full-time owner-operator position is based in Searcy, White County, and focuses on over-the-road (OTR) trucking operations. As an independent contractor with your own dry van equipment, you'll partner with Nayhoose Logistics to haul freight across long-distance routes throughout the continental United States. You'll have the independence of running your own business while benefiting from consistent load opportunities and reliable dispatching support.
Responsibilities
- Operate your dry van on assigned over-the-road trucking routes across the United States
- Maintain full compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Hours of Service requirements
- Perform regular pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and coordinate necessary maintenance
- Deliver freight safely and on schedule to designated pickup and drop-off locations
- Maintain accurate trip documentation, logbook records, and delivery confirmations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates and real-time load status
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial trucking or owner-operator experience
