EPC Sourcing Manager

DSJ Global is partnering with a privately owned energy infrastructure developer, owner, and operator to recruit an EPC Sourcing Manager in Houston, Harris County. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to drive procurement strategy for major power generation builds from the owner's side of the table.

About the Role

As EPC Sourcing Manager, you will join the owner's procurement function and take the lead on securing and managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements that underpin large, capital-intensive power generation developments. The position centers on thermal generation and high-voltage substation scopes, where your sourcing decisions directly shape project cost, schedule, and delivery risk across the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end sourcing process for EPC contracts tied to utility-scale power generation projects.
• Lead commercial negotiations and finalize contract terms that protect the owner's interests on cost and execution.
• Manage procurement scopes covering thermal generation and high-voltage substation work.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance stakeholders to align sourcing with development timelines.
• Evaluate and qualify contractors and suppliers for large, capital-intensive infrastructure programs.
• Support execution of awarded contracts through the construction and delivery phases.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience sourcing and negotiating EPC contracts within the power generation or energy infrastructure sector.
• Working knowledge of thermal generation and high-voltage substation project scopes.
• Strong commercial and contract negotiation capabilities on large, capital-intensive projects.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an owner-side procurement team.
• Based in or able to work on-site in Houston, Harris County.
