Join Fairway Management, a key division of JES Holdings, as a Maintenance Tech I at Campbell Place in Camilla, Mitchell County. We're seeking a dedicated technician to help maintain our quality affordable housing community through reliable, hands-on maintenance support.
About the Role
This is a full-time position offering consistent Monday through Friday employment from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a Maintenance Tech I, you'll be the backbone of our property operations team, ensuring Campbell Place remains safe, functional, and welcoming for the families who call our community home.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and common areas
- Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify and address issues before they escalate
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs completed
- Collaborate with the management team to prioritize and schedule maintenance work
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with property standards
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Proven experience in maintenance, repairs, or related technical work
- Working knowledge of common building systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and safety guidelines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and grow in a maintenance technology role
