Locum Physician (MD/DO)

This locum assignment brings you to a healthcare facility serving Fort Morgan and Morgan County with a diverse patient population. You'll practice comprehensive obstetric and gynecological medicine in a collegial setting where your expertise is valued and your schedule supports work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Deliver full-spectrum obstetric care including prenatal assessment, labor management, delivery services, and postpartum follow-up
• Provide gynecological clinical services spanning routine preventive care, contraceptive counseling, and treatment of benign and complex conditions
• Maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation and electronic health records
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and hospital teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
• Mentor resident physicians and medical students where applicable
• Participate in call coverage aligned with agreed-upon scheduling

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree with current, unrestricted Colorado medical licensure
• Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated experience in both obstetric and gynecological patient care
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to collaborative practice
• Flexibility and adaptability in temporary placement settings
• DEA registration and current malpractice insurance (or willingness to obtain)
