About the Role
Working the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift, you'll be part of our Maintenance team at the Indianapolis Bakery plant, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager. This is a hands-on technical position where you'll directly impact production reliability and equipment performance throughout night operations.
What You'll Do
- Select, install, and commission PLC equipment and automated control systems for bakery production lines
- Program and configure industrial automation controllers and plant instrumentation devices
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all system modifications and configurations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose automation and instrumentation issues to minimize production downtime
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure optimal equipment performance during night shifts
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems
- Working knowledge of plant instrumentation, sensors, and control devices
- Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to create clear, accurate technical documentation
- Reliability and comfort working consistent overnight shifts in a manufacturing setting
Compensation and Schedule
This full-time position pays $40.49 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential for night shift work. You'll work a consistent 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM schedule at our Indianapolis location.
