About the Role
Join the Patient Financial Services team at Insight Global in a critical role managing hospital credit balances. As a Credit Reimbursement Specialist, you'll review high-volume credit reports daily, resolving account issues that require attention to detail and a methodical approach. You'll work through 40-50 accounts each day, following clearly defined workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate reimbursements and compliance with hospital billing standards.
What You'll Do
- Process daily credit balance reports in a high-volume hospital billing environment
- Review and resolve approximately 40-50 patient accounts per day
- Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy
- Verify credit eligibility and process reimbursement transactions
- Identify discrepancies and work toward resolution within defined parameters
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of account actions
- Support the Patient Financial Services team's billing operations
