BlackRock seeks a Vice President, Total Rewards Transformation to lead strategic redesign of compensation and benefits operations at our Grand Central, Manhattan headquarters. This full-time executive role directs a high-impact team driving organizational-wide improvements in governance, delivery capabilities, and operational execution to build a scalable, consistent, enterprise-grade total rewards function.

About the Role

The Total Rewards Transformation office is reimagining how BlackRock delivers compensation strategy, benefits administration, and rewards programs. You will design and implement a modernized, centralized operating model that replaces legacy processes with streamlined, technology-enabled workflows. Your work directly impacts how the organization attracts, develops, and retains its workforce.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end transformation of compensation and benefits delivery, governance, and organizational design
  • Design and oversee implementation of centralized, scalable systems and platforms to replace fragmented manual processes
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and controls that ensure consistency, compliance, and quality across all total rewards programs
  • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to align total rewards strategy with enterprise priorities
  • Build and mentor a team of transformation professionals, program managers, and analytics specialists
  • Define and execute multi-year transformation roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Drive adoption of new processes and tools through change management, training, and stakeholder engagement

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, or human capital transformation
  • Proven track record leading large-scale organizational redesigns or system implementations
  • Strong business acumen, financial analysis skills, and ability to communicate complex concepts to executives
  • Experience with modern HR technology platforms, data analytics, and process automation
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and manage competing priorities in matrix environments
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
