About the Role

As an Internal Audit & Financial Advisory Senior Consultant with Robert Half, you'll partner with organizations across the Phoenix region to strengthen their financial controls, assess operational risks, and drive meaningful business improvements. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on expertise in internal audit and financial advisory services.

What You'll Do

• Lead internal audit engagements, evaluating internal controls and risk management frameworks
• Assess financial processes, procedures, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Identify operational and financial risks, and develop actionable recommendations for mitigation
• Communicate findings and insights clearly to leadership and audit committees
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvement initiatives
• Prepare detailed audit reports and executive summaries that inform business decisions
• Stay current with evolving audit standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Progressive experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or financial consulting
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, GAAP, and financial audit methodologies
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with audit and business intelligence tools
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and lead engagements with professionalism and attention to detail
