About the Role

Our 23-bed orthopedic unit specializes in advanced patient care for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, trauma, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. The unit utilizes state-of-the-art surgical techniques including limb salvage procedures, minimally invasive treatment options, and specialized interventions for orthopedic trauma. As a Graduate Nurse on the night shift (3-12s), you'll be integral to our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during this critical phase of recovery. Eligible for sign-on bonus.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct bedside nursing care to orthopedic and trauma patients in the immediate postoperative period
  • Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress following orthopedic surgery
  • Assist patients with mobility, wound care, and rehabilitation goals as directed by the care team
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately and timely
  • Support patient and family education about orthopedic conditions and recovery expectations

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; recent graduate eligible
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
  • Compassion for patients and commitment to excellent patient care
  • Ability to work as an effective team member in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current RN licensure in Missouri or ability to obtain licensure
