About the Role
As Office Manager at In-Home Care, you'll manage the administrative operations that keep our home healthcare services running smoothly. Your work directly supports our clinical team and the families we serve, coordinating the scheduling, documentation, and logistics that enable skilled and non-skilled home care services, facility staffing support, and non-medical transportation services.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient intake coordination, and client communications
- Manage administrative documentation, billing coordination, and insurance verification for home healthcare services
- Coordinate with caregivers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation for home healthcare operations
- Handle vendor management, office supplies, equipment ordering, and facility maintenance
- Support front desk and phone operations, fielding inquiries from prospective clients and families
- Assist with staff coordination and scheduling for healthcare staffing needs
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally in healthcare or home health settings
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with administrative software, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance verification, or medical office procedures (preferred)
- Self-directed work style with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Compassion for seniors and individuals requiring home-based care
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or medical office certification is a plus
