GovCIO is hiring a Sr Director of Customer Engagement and Delivery to lead our customer-facing operations and delivery excellence initiatives from our State House office in Lancaster County. This is a full-time, in-person leadership role for an experienced senior director ready to shape how we serve government and public sector clients.
About the Role
As Sr Director of Customer Engagement and Delivery, you will own the relationship architecture, delivery accountability, and service quality that define GovCIO's client partnerships. This is a strategic leadership position where you'll drive organizational alignment between customer needs and our delivery capabilities, ensuring every engagement meets rigorous performance standards and builds long-term trust.
What You'll Do
- Lead customer engagement strategy and manage relationships across key government and public sector accounts
- Establish delivery frameworks, operational discipline, and quality assurance protocols across all project engagements
- Own customer satisfaction metrics and drive continuous improvement in service delivery performance
- Build and mentor a customer-facing delivery team, fostering accountability and excellence in client interactions
- Partner with sales, operations, and delivery teams to align customer requirements with project execution
- Develop and implement customer success programs that strengthen retention and expand account relationships
- Report on delivery performance, customer health, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of leadership experience in customer engagement, program delivery, or related roles in government contracting or public sector technology
- Proven track record managing large, complex customer relationships and cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong operational discipline: ability to design scalable processes, set measurable outcomes, and drive accountability
- Excellent communication skills—comfort presenting to C-level executives and managing expectations with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with quality assurance, service level management, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, program management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
