About the Role
Serve as a Graduate Nurse in our Adult Psychiatric unit, providing direct patient care in an inpatient setting. Working alongside experienced clinicians and a multidisciplinary treatment team, you'll develop core psychiatric nursing competencies while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating mental health challenges.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a psychiatric inpatient environment
- Assess and monitor patients' physical and mental health status throughout their treatment
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Document patient care activities, observations, and clinical interventions with accuracy and timeliness
- Support implementation of treatment plans and therapeutic nursing interventions
- Respond to patient needs with clinical judgment, compassion, and professional communication
