Licensed Insurance Agent

Kemper is recruiting a Licensed Insurance Agent to serve the Baltimore area, including the Druid region. This full-time, field-based position offers a competitive compensation structure with an upfront sign-on incentive and the opportunity to earn unlimited commissions on your sales.

About the Role

As a Licensed Insurance Agent for Kemper, you'll work directly with clients across the Baltimore region, assessing their insurance needs and matching them with appropriate coverage solutions. This is a dynamic, client-facing role where success depends on your sales ability, knowledge of insurance products, and commitment to serving families in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person client meetings to evaluate insurance needs and present Kemper products
• Generate new business through outreach, referrals, and territory development
• Complete applications, documentation, and sales transactions accurately and on time
• Build and nurture a client base for long-term retention and growth
• Maintain product knowledge and comply with Maryland insurance regulations
• Track performance metrics and work toward sales goals

What We're Looking For

• Current Maryland insurance license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven sales track record (insurance, financial services, or direct sales experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-directed and motivated to grow your own business
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
