About the Role
As an Adventure Nanny and Homeschool Helper, you'll design and lead enriching outdoor activities and educational adventures for homeschooled children. You'll become a trusted partner in families' learning journeys while maintaining the flexibility to balance this work with your own educational or personal commitments.
What You'll Do
- Create and lead outdoor adventures and educational activities tailored to homeschoolers
- Support children's learning through hands-on, interactive instruction
- Drive to local destinations throughout Wayne County, including Maysville and Brooksville, with occasional trips to Newport and Lexington as experience allows
- Maintain safe, engaging environments during all activities
- Communicate regularly with families about learning progress and activity highlights
What We're Looking For
- Genuine enthusiasm for outdoor learning and adventure-based education
- Experience working with children, tutoring, or homeschool support
- Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation for local driving
- Availability for 2 days each week (Tuesday and Wednesday preferred, open to other days)
- Flexibility with scheduling between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Ability to independently lead engaging, educational experiences
Schedule & Compensation
This part-time position requires a 2-day weekly commitment with a 4-hour minimum per shift; longer shifts are welcome. Scheduling is built around your availability and class commitments. Compensation is $10–$15 per hour based on your experience. Start date is as soon as possible.
