Part Time Hospice RN Wyoming Valley PA

Serenity Hospice Care Pennsylvania is hiring a compassionate Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver dignified end-of-life care to patients throughout the Wyoming Valley area, including Kingston and surrounding communities in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This part-time hospice nursing position offers the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in patients' final chapters. You'll provide direct clinical care, coordinate symptom management, and support families during one of life's most important transitions. This role is designed for nurses who are drawn to purposeful work and value a sustainable schedule.

What You'll Do

• Conduct patient assessments and create individualized hospice care plans focused on comfort and quality of life
• Manage pain and symptom control through evidence-based nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families about the hospice care process and what to expect
• Document clinical observations and communicate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide compassionate support during end-of-life transitions and grief
• Follow established protocols while exercising clinical judgment in home and facility settings

What We're Looking For

• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure in good standing
• Experience with hospice, palliative care, or medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills with patients and families
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams
• Compassionate approach to end-of-life care and family support
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Wyoming Valley service area
